Preface
A career as an Engologist can be very rewarding both intellectually and financially. However, it is true to say that this profession, which is the backbone of society, does not get credit for its accomplishments, as is the case with Engineers, Accountants, etc. One of the reasons for this is that they do not seek public acknowledgment. This is wrong if it leads to ignorance on the part of school-leavers.
As is the case with Engineers, the word * Engologist * can mean anything to some people. The function of this website is to seek public recognition for their achievements, internationally. One method is to use the initials, * Egt * for qualified Engineering Technologists, internationally.
